Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day

Are you a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in the Maltby (S66) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to design and deliver tailored learning experiences, support pupils’ academic and emotional growth, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet pupils’ individual education plans (IEPs).
- Support students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents/carers to provide consistent support.
- Track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management, and pupil wellbeing.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Empathy, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse learner needs.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
