Pay Rate: £86 – £100 per day

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rotherham (S61). In this role of Primary TA, you will provide essential support to both pupils and teachers, helping create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and behaviour management.
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
- Patience, resilience, and a supportive attitude.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
