SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Sheffield, S10
Pay Rate: £95 – £105 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Sheffield (S10). In this role of SEN TA, you will provide tailored support to pupils, helping them engage in learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills.
Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist in implementing individual learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Adapt learning resources and activities to suit pupils’ needs.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupils’ learning and development.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
