Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield, S1
Pay Rate: £95 – £105 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you an enthusiastic and energetic Sports Coach with a passion for inspiring young people through physical activity and sport?
GSL Education are seeking a committed to join schools in Sheffield (S1). In this role, you will deliver engaging PE sessions, promote healthy lifestyles, and support pupils in developing teamwork, fitness, and self-confidence.
Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Plan, deliver, and assess PE lessons and sporting activities across various age groups.
- Encourage pupils to develop fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Support pupils in building confidence, resilience, and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure inclusive and safe PE sessions.
- Assist with organising school sports events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements for Sports Coach:
- Previous experience delivering PE lessons or coaching children is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and able to motivate pupils.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
