SEN Teacher – Hounslow
Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education London are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Hounslow. This rewarding role involves teaching pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of learners with SEN.

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to provide targeted support.

  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.

  • Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN needs is highly desirable.

  • Strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate effectively.

  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
