Pay Rate: £93 – £115 per day

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant professional to join a welcoming school in Sheffield. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is compassionate, understanding, and committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs, helping them engage positively with their learning.
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to implement effective support strategies.
- Encourage positive behaviours and help students develop essential social and self-regulation skills.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment where pupils feel valued and understood.
- Record and monitor progress, contributing to the development of tailored learning plans.
Requirements for Behaviour Support Assistant:
- Previous experience in a school or support setting is desirable.
- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to managing behaviour.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
