Job Title: SEN Classroom Support
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role

As an SEN Classroom Support, you will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide personalised assistance to students with a range of needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
  • Deliver one-to-one interventions to reinforce learning.
  • Assist in the development of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and resilience.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in SEN setting is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students’ learning and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or support work are advantageous.

To work with GSL Education as SEN Classroom Support, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
