Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Tickhill, DN11
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher ready to inspire students and nurture their artistic talents?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher to join schools in the Tickhill (DN11) area. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage learners in creative expression, visual literacy, and design, helping them build confidence and skills across various artistic mediums.

Responsibilities as an Art Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons that meet the national curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking in students.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-level coursework and examinations.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress effectively.
  • Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Art curriculum and school displays.


Requirements
for Art Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching Art at Key Stages is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of different art techniques and digital design tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
