Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach eager to inspire students through sport and physical activity?
GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sports Coach to join schools in the Sheffield (S26) area. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in inspiring and engaging pupils through physical activity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and teamwork while making a real difference in the lives of young people.
Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Lead engaging PE lessons and sports sessions tailored to pupils of varying ages and abilities.
- Promote physical well-being, teamwork, and positive behaviour through structured activities.
- Support students in developing confidence, coordination, and resilience.
- Assist with extracurricular clubs, events, and inter-school competitions.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Sports Coach:
- Previous experience in coaching children or young people, preferably within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
