Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Bentley
Pay Rate: £93 – £115+ per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day
Are you a confident and organised individual ready to supervise classes and support pupils’ learning in the absence of their teacher?
GSL Education are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Bentley. In this role of CS, you will oversee classes across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes during teacher absence and following lesson plans provided.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils’ engagement and progress across a range of subjects.
- Assisting teaching staff with resources and administrative tasks where needed.
- Liaising with teachers, support staff, and senior leadership to report on pupil behaviour and progress.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have experience working with children in a UK school setting.
- Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Be adaptable, confident, and able to work across multiple year groups.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
