Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Tickhill, DN11
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher ready to inspire students and develop their numeracy and problem-solving skills?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join schools in the Tickhill (DN11) area immediately. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, enhance pupils’ mathematical understanding, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.


Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire pupils to develop numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and personal development.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance learning outcomes.


Requirements for Maths Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
