GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join schools in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to inspire and support young learners in their academic journey, whilst creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.
About the role:
As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to pupils across different year groups. You will be responsible for planning and teaching engaging lessons, supporting children’s progress, and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment. This role suits an enthusiastic individual with strong classroom management skills and a genuine passion for teaching.
What you have to do as a Primary School Teacher:
- Plan, prepare and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and track pupils’ progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Support pupils’ development both academically and socially.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to promote positive learning outcomes.
Primary Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching in primary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners.
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
