SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tingley, WF3
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Tingley, WF3. In this role of SEN TA, you will work closely with students with various SEN, providing the guidance and support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse SEN.
- Assist in the delivery of individualised learning plans under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
- Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional development in students.
- Support students in both academic and personal development, ensuring a tailored approach.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure students' needs are met.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills.
- A caring and resilient approach to supporting students with varying needs.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
