Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Blyth
Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Blyth. As a TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their academic, emotional, and social development, helping them reach their full potential in the classroom.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including those with additional needs.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assist in preparing resources and maintaining classroom organisation.
- Work closely with the class teacher to track student progress and provide feedback.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A caring and patient approach to supporting students’ learning.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
