Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Subject Specialist, eager to share your expertise and inspire students to excel in your subject area?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Subject Specialist to join a supportive school in Worksop. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students, promoting a deep understanding of the subject while fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of students in your subject area.
  • Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Work closely with other teachers to implement subject-specific strategies and activities.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and classroom practices.

Requirements for Subject Specialist:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of the subject area and relevant curriculum requirements.
  • Experience teaching the subject at secondary level is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
