Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Hoyland, S74
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join a welcoming school in Hoyland. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking and respect for diverse beliefs.
As an RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and school ethos.
- Encouraging pupils to explore religious beliefs, practices, and ethical issues with an open mind.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning environment.
- Contributing to wider school activities, including assemblies and cross-curricular initiatives.
To be successful as an RE Teacher, you should:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS.
- Have experience teaching RE across Key Stages.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Religious Education.
- Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, 10-year career history (CV) with any gaps explained.
