SEMH Teacher – Islington

Salary: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

GSL Education is looking for a SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision in Islington. You will be responsible for teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, often requiring creative and personalised approaches to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEMH pupils.

  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.

  • Work closely with support staff to ensure all pupils are engaged and making progress.

  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience working with SEMH students is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
