1:1 Teaching Assistant - Early Years
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex

Daily Rate: £90 – £100 (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm (term time only)

We are looking for a caring, committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Littlehampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a child in our Early Years setting, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a meaningful and lasting way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing 1:1 support tailored to a child’s individual needs in an Early Years classroom
  • Working alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver personalised learning strategies
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement through positive, nurturing relationships
  • Supporting learning activities and adapting tasks to ensure inclusion and progress
  • Assisting with recording and reporting on the child’s development and achievements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND
  • Experience working in Early Years or KS1 is desirable but not essential
  • A calm, flexible, and positive approach to supporting young learners
  • Ability to follow and implement individual learning plans under the direction of teaching staff
  • A genuine passion for helping children flourish and grow
  • Relevant classroom support qualifications are desirable but not essential
