Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Brighton
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (Part-time roles also available)

GSL Education are seeking a committed Primary Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Brighton, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring young learners across the curriculum.

About the Role:
This is a dynamic classroom teaching role where you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum. The school values creativity, high expectations, and a nurturing environment where all pupils can thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and well-being

  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practice

  • Engage with parents and carers to support pupils’ learning and development

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour through positive classroom management

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent

  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
