Cover Supervisor - Rotherham
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £115 per day
Contract: Full Time, Long Term (Starting September)
About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a long-term position in Rotherham, starting in September. This role involves managing classroom activities in the absence of the subject teacher and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
Job Summary:
- Supervise students and ensure they carry out pre-prepared educational activities and tasks.
- Maintain discipline according to the school policies.
- Manage classroom resources and space effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that lesson objectives set by a teacher are met.
- Support students in completing tasks and understanding the material.
- Report back on the behaviour of pupils during the class and any issues arising.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to promote a positive learning environment.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
