SEMH Teaching Assistant
Working hours: 8.45-2.46
Location: Newcastle, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £75 - £110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
GSL Education are inviting applications for a SEMH Teaching Assistant with specialized hours. This role in Newcastle supports students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring a supportive and effective educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, aiding in their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers to tailor approaches for individual student needs.
- Foster a nurturing and stable environment that enhances learning and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Prior experience or training in supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of the strategies effective for managing emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a resilient and patient demeanour.
