ECT Science Teacher Job Responsibilities:
- As an ECT Science Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in the wonders of Biology and Chemistry
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for our students.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or currently undergoing Initial Teacher Training (ITT) with ECT status.
- Specialization in Biology and Chemistry, with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity and promote deep learning.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
