1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – EHCP Support
Location: York
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education are looking for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP in a York-based school.
About the School
This inclusive school provides tailored support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring that each learner receives personalised interventions aligned with their EHCP targets. Staff work collaboratively to promote both academic and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with an EHCP
- Support learning across the curriculum
- Implement targeted interventions
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
- Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff
Requirements
- Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs
- Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
- Patient and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
