Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

Location: Driffield
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are recruiting a confident Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant for a secondary setting in Driffield.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils who require behaviour intervention
  • Provide classroom and 1:1 support
  • Assist with behaviour management strategies
  • Encourage positive engagement and attendance
  • Work closely with pastoral and teaching staff

Requirements

  • Experience with SEMH / behaviour needs preferred
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • Calm and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
