SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Driffield
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026
GSL Education are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a secondary school in Driffield.

This inclusive secondary school provides a structured and supportive learning environment where pupils with additional needs are encouraged to thrive. Staff work closely with the SENCO and pastoral teams to ensure learners receive targeted academic and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and learning needs
- Assist with differentiated classroom activities
- Promote confidence, independence and engagement
- Work closely with subject teachers and SEN staff
Requirements
- Previous SEN experience preferred
- Experience in a secondary school setting desirable
- Patient and resilient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
