1:1 Tutor

East Riding of Yorkshire (Brough, Howden, Goole, Snaith, Beverley)

Contract: Flexible / Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunities

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking to make a real difference outside of the traditional classroom? We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support KS3 and KS4 students across East Riding, including Brough, Howden, Goole, Snaith, and Beverley.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students who may be out of mainstream education, require additional support, or benefit from a more personalised approach to learning.

The Role as a Tutor:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition in English, Maths and Science at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Plan and adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs and abilities
  • Support students with varying needs, including SEN, SEMH, and disengagement from education
  • Build strong, positive relationships to re-engage students with learning
  • Track progress and provide feedback on student development

The Ideal Tutor:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring KS3 and KS4 English, Maths and/or Science
  • Confident working on a 1:1 basis with students of varying abilities
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs (SEN/SEMH) is highly desirable
  • Patient, adaptable, and able to build rapport quickly
  • Holds relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
