Job Title: Maths Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love of mathematics in a secondary classroom setting.

The secondary school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. Staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards of behaviour, and promote achievement across Key Stages 3–5.
About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across the secondary curriculum, helping students develop numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. You will support academic progress while fostering engagement, curiosity, and confidence in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons aligned with the secondary national curriculum
• Support students in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and well-managed secondary classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent support and achievement across the department
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for inspiring secondary students and promoting interest in mathematics
