Role: History Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to inspire students across schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6). This is an excellent opportunity for a History Teacher who enjoys bringing the past to life and encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and curiosity in the classroom.
What to Expect in This History Teacher Role:
- Deliver engaging history lessons across a range of year groups.
- Plan and prepare lessons that encourage enquiry, debate, and historical understanding.
- Support students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and collaborate with colleagues to support achievement.
Requirements for This History Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching history is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- A professional, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
