Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a skilled Design Technology (DT) Teacher to work with schools across Doncaster, including the DN2 and DN6 districts, delivering engaging hands‑on lessons that build problem‑solving and technical skills.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across a range of DT disciplines, encourage innovative thinking, and maintain a safe and motivating classroom environment where students can explore design processes effectively.
Core Responsibilities:
- Teach Design Technology concepts through practical and theory lessons.
- Support pupils in developing technical, creative, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain high standards of safety and behaviour in workshops and classrooms.
- Provide constructive feedback to pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning.
- Monitor pupil progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Design Technology Teacher.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to inspiring learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional approach to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
