Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to support students across schools in Sheffield (S35). This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacher who is passionate about inspiring curiosity and developing students’ understanding of the world through scientific enquiry.
What to Expect in This Science Teacher Role:
- Deliver engaging science lessons across a range of year groups.
- Plan and prepare practical and theory-based lessons that encourage investigation and critical thinking.
- Support students in developing scientific knowledge, skills, and confidence.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed classroom or laboratory environment.
- Assess student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to support achievement.
Requirements for This Science Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching science is desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and engagingly.
- A professional, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
