Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming an inspiring RE Teacher to join schools in the Sheffield S11 area, delivering thoughtful and engaging lessons that encourage reflection, understanding, and respect for diverse perspectives.
As an Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will guide students through different religious traditions, moral questions, and contemporary debates, creating an inclusive classroom where learners feel confident to share ideas and explore diverse perspectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured RE lessons that engage pupils.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and discussion skills.
- Maintain a positive learning environment with effective behaviour management.
- Provide constructive feedback to help pupils progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the curriculum.
- Monitor pupil progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong RE subject knowledge and experience as an RE Teacher.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A responsible and professional approach to safeguarding and child protection.
