Job Title: PE (Physical Education) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are engaging a dedicated PE Teacher to work with secondary schools in the Sheffield S11 area, delivering dynamic sessions that promote fitness, teamwork, and confidence while inspiring students to achieve their personal best.

As a PE (Physical Education) Teacher, you will inspire active participation, build pupils’ physical skills and resilience, and promote a positive attitude to wellbeing within an inclusive, structured environment that motivates students to challenge themselves.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver structured physical education sessions across a range of activities.
  • Promote teamwork, fair play, and a positive sporting attitude.
  • Maintain a safe and well-managed learning environment during all activities.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
  • Adapt sessions to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider school initiatives.

Requirements of PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a PE Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A proactive and inclusive approach to supporting all learners.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
