Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join secondary schools in the Sheffield S11 district, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence in computing and digital understanding.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will develop learners’ computational thinking, coding skills, and understanding of technology’s role in modern life, while fostering curiosity, resilience, and independent learning through structured and creative teaching.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver clear, engaging lessons covering a range of computing topics.
- Support learners in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and focus.
- Assess progress and provide meaningful feedback to support development.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider learning objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Secure subject knowledge and confidence working as a Computer Science Teacher.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
