Role: English Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to inspire and engage students in Barnsley. If you are passionate about English and helping students develop their reading, writing, and communication skills, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What to Expect in This English Teacher Role:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across a range of year groups.
- Plan and prepare lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Support students’ learning and development through feedback and encouragement.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with other staff to ensure each student reaches their potential.
Requirements for This English Teacher Role:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous teaching experience in English, preferably in secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in student development.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
