Role: Cover Supervisor (Supply)
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day Supply

GSL Education are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor (CS) to support schools in Barnsley (S70, S71) by supervising lessons and ensuring students remain engaged and productive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a classroom environment and supporting learning across a range of subjects.

What to Expect in This Cover Supervisor (CS) Role:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, following lesson plans provided.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
  • Support students with behaviour management, ensuring school policies are followed.
  • Assist with classroom activities and provide general support to teachers as needed.
  • Monitor student progress and report any concerns to teaching staff.

Requirements for This Cover Supervisor (CS) Role:

  • Previous experience working in a school environment is desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage groups of students effectively.
  • Patience, confidence, and a professional attitude.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
