Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate 
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are working with schools across Sheffield (S5 & S9) to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher who can inspire students and bring lessons to life.

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build reading, writing, and analytical skills, while creating an encouraging environment for learners of all abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured English lessons.
  • Support students in developing comprehension, writing, and spoken skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve.
  • Maintain a calm and productive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience as an English Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting learners’ academic and personal growth.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
