Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield, (S5, S9)
Pay Rate: Upto £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher prepared to guide young people and cultivate their interest in languages?
GSL Education are looking for a talented MFL Teacher to join an energetic school in Sheffield, (S5, S9). You will deliver engaging language lessons, helping students develop confidence and proficiency in both speaking and writing.
Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create an immersive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love for languages.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop language resources and support materials.
- Encourage students to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in their chosen language.
Requirements for MFL Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge in Modern Foreign Languages, with the ability to teach French, Spanish, or other languages.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
