Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay Rate: £140 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate Start / January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference to pupils with additional needs in the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield?

GSL Education are seeking committed SEN Teachers to work in supportive schools across Sheffield (S2 & S3). This rewarding opportunity allows you to deliver inclusive education and personalised learning for pupils with special educational needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and support staff.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs/EHCPs).
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Requirements for the role:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN (SEND experience essential).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
