Geography Teacher

Location: Eastleigh

Salary Scale: £31,650 to £49,084 annually

As a Geography Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons that help students understand the world around them, from physical landscapes to human environments and global issues. This is a full-time or flexible supply role ideal for individuals who can bring curiosity, structure, and global awareness to the classroom.

Geography Teacher role:  

  • Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons, tailored to meet the learning needs of students.
  • Encourage active participation and critical thinking, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve academic excellence.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the geography curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Promote a strong sense of respect for the environment and cultural diversity among students.

Requirements for Geography Teacher role:  

  • Holds QTS or equivalent is essential.
  • Exhibits proactive, energetic, compassionate, flexible and adaptable qualities
  • Provides a verifiable work historyTop of Form
  • Demonstrate proven experience in teaching Geography
  • Strong desire to work in a SEN setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish strong relationships.
