Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Shoreham
Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Role Overview:
A SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) supports pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing learning and achieving their full potential.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs in accessing learning and achieving their potential.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils requiring additional attention.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence in pupils.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement individual learning plans.
- Monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress to help adapt support as needed.
- Promote an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom culture.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed academically and personally.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
