Pay Rate: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Bognor. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing personalised support to help pupils achieve both personal and academic growth.
Role Overview:
As a 1:1 SEN TA, you will provide dedicated, personalised support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum and develop independence, confidence, and resilience.
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide personalised, one-to-one support to a pupil with SEN, helping them access learning and develop independence.
- Assist the class teacher and SENCO in implementing individual learning and behaviour plans.
- Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment tailored to the pupil’s needs.
- Encourage confidence, resilience, and positive behaviour in the pupil.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to inform ongoing support strategies.
- Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom culture.
Requirements for 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting individual needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed academically and personally.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
