Location: Sheffield
Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are on the lookout for a Behaviour Mentor with heart, humour, and heaps of resilience to support pupils navigating emotional and behavioural challenges. This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to make a lasting impact.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SEN professionals to support pupils who may be experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties. Your role will involve building positive relationships, implementing effective strategies, and helping students engage confidently with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
- Implement tailored behaviour management strategies
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
- Monitor and report on pupil behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges (e.g., SEMH, ADHD, trauma)
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable learners
