Location: Newham
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: After Half Term
Contract: Long Term

GSL Education’s London Branch is currently looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring History and Politics Teacher to work at a high-achieving boys' secondary school in the vibrant borough of Newham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment, starting after the half-term on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities of the History and Politics Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality History and Politics lessons to KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5 students

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Plan engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback

  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

  • Work closely with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress

  • Uphold the school's high standards of behaviour and academic achievement

Requirements for the History and Politics Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching History and Politics in a UK secondary school

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for your subject

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Availability to start after the half term and commit to a long-term role
