Job Title: Autism Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Bognor
Salary: £90 to £95 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an Autism Support Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a nurturing school in Bognor. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of Autism Support Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to students with Autism
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Promote a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver effective support
- Encourage social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation
Requirements of Autism Support Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Understanding of Autism and the specific needs of students with ASC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and positive relationships with students and staff
- Relevant experience or training in Autism support (desirable but not essential)
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
