About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate Autism Support Worker to join the team. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them access the curriculum, manage behaviour, and develop key skills. Your support will make a direct difference to students’ learning and personal growth.
Responsibilities

Support pupils with autism across educational, behavioural, and social development.

Implement individualised strategies to aid communication, emotional regulation, and transitions.

Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery and differentiated learning activities.

Provide personal care support where required.

Conduct observations to inform planning and collaborate with teachers and SENCOs.

Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications
-
Experience supporting children with autism or SEN in educational settings.

Knowledge of behaviour management, communication strategies, and differentiation techniques.

Ability to adapt lessons and learning resources to individual needs.

Awareness of safeguarding procedures and commitment to child protection.
