Position: SEN Teacher – Complex Needs (PMLD)
Location: Enfield
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Full-Time | Ongoing | Monday – Friday
Salary: £150 – £240 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

This is an incredible opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher to work with children who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex communication needs. You’ll play a vital role in providing tailored, meaningful learning experiences that encourage independence, confidence, and joy in every pupil.
What the Role Involves

Designing and delivering creative, multi-sensory lessons adapted to individual learning styles.

Building nurturing relationships and promoting communication through sensory engagement and assistive technology.

Working collaboratively with therapists, teaching assistants, and families to deliver a holistic approach to learning.

Encouraging self-expression, curiosity, and achievement in a safe and inclusive environment.

Monitoring progress, celebrating small steps, and ensuring every student feels seen and valued.
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Previous experience supporting pupils with PMLD, ASC, or complex learning needs.

Strong understanding of sensory and differentiated teaching approaches.

Patience, empathy, and a positive mindset.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
