SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Newham, E16
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term, Full Time
Hours: 8:30am – 4:15pm
Salary: £90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD and additional needs in a modern, inclusive Newham school. This full-time, long-term role involves delivering 1:1 support and tailored interventions to help pupils thrive academically and emotionally.

Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience, particularly with ASD
  • Recent school-based experience
  • Ability to deliver 1:1 support and interventions
  • Warm, patient, and child-focused approach
  • Comfortable supporting with nappy changing if required
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow school policies
