About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting pupils with special educational needs. Your contribution will directly impact students’ learning, confidence, and engagement within the classroom. This is an opportunity to make a real difference by working closely with teaching staff and helping to deliver personalised learning experiences.
Responsibilities

Support pupils with SEN across the classroom or in 1:1 settings.

Assist with lesson planning and differentiated activities to meet individual learning needs.

Implement behaviour management strategies and support positive learning environments.

Provide personal care where required, ensuring dignity and safety.

Monitor and report on pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.

Support social and emotional development, helping pupils build confidence and independence.
Qualifications

Experience working in SEN or primary school settings is preferred.

Knowledge of differentiation, behaviour management, and classroom support.

Ability to build rapport with children and work collaboratively with teaching staff.

Awareness of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
