Salary: £90 – £95 per day
Contract Type: Part-Time

About the Role:
As a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, you will provide focused, individualised support to a pupil with specific educational needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans, encourage engagement, and support personal and academic development. Your role is key to helping the pupil achieve success in a positive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional educational needs.

Assist in implementing individualised education and care plans.

Support positive behaviour and social skills development.

Collaborate with teaching staff and SENCO to ensure pupil needs are met.

Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and activities.

Support the pupil during classroom activities, transitions, and break times.

Provide personal care assistance if required, in line with school policy.
Qualifications:
-
Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or educational setting.

Understanding of Autism, ADHD, or other additional needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs and provide personalised support.

Patience, consistency, and a proactive approach to learning support.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
