Job Title: SEN Teacher

Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential?
GSL Education are currently seeking a SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sheffield. This role offers the opportunity to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver personalised lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEN.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support strategies.
- Monitor pupil progress, assess learning outcomes, and adapt teaching methods as required.
- Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting engagement and self-confidence.
- Uphold high standards of safeguarding and ensure the well-being of all pupils in your care.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
